Dr Umair Siddiqui

Dr Siddiqui joined Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone in January 2018, having worked in General Practice for over 13 years. Dr Siddiqui holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (2005) and Master’s Degree in Public health (2010). He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (2015).

Dr Siddiqui has worked across Australia in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland since arriving from Africa in 2013. His areas of special interest are occupational health, skin cancer treatment, mental health and emergency medicine.

Debbi

Debbi, a Gladstone local, has a background of 32 years in pathology where she worked as a laboratory technician in the biochemistry, haematology and microbiology departments. She has many years' experience performing onsite drug and alcohol testing and is also certified in phlebotomy.

As a medical screener, Debbi conducts the initial collection of general patient information, performs TSANZ spirometry, Occ Health Noise Assessments and various other assessments, to assist the doctors prior to each patient’s medical assessments.

Joan has worked in Healthcare Management, both in NZ and Australia for over 20 years. She enjoys working with a team, inspiring people to do their best and providing a high level of customer service. Joan is proud of her team at Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone and endeavours to provide a professional, happy and friendly experience during your visit to the clinic.

Administration Team

Our frontline administration team consists of – Emmah, Kelly and Taylor. As dedicated administrators of general practice and occupational health, our administration team will be able to assist with any queries you may have, or point you in the right direction. Our administration team works closely with clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of all aspects in the clinic.
