Dr Luke Craig

Dr Craig is a highly experienced GP with a special interest in Occupational Health, Skin Cancer Medicine and Travel Medicine. He is a credentialed Visa Panel Physician (in both Australia and Canada). Dr Craig specialises in Occupational Health at Sonic HealthPlus Hobart.

Dr Mark Spearpoint

Dr Mark Spearpoint is a General Practitioner who works exclusively in Occupational Medicine. Dr Spearpoint holds an Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators, and is a member of the College of Legal Medicine. He has also completed a Masters of Public Health with the University of Queensland, is a Rail Safety authority health professional, Medical inspector of Seafarers (AMSA) and Medical Review Officer. Dr Spearpoint performs a full range of occupational medical assessments including pre-employment and periodic medical screening, injury management and fitness for work assessment.

Dr Megan Baker

Dr Robert Blakesley

Dr Robert Blakesley is a General Practitioner MBBS, FRACGP, and DipSportsMed. Dr Blakesley grew up in Hobart and graduated from the University of Tasmania. His special interests are in Occupational Medicine, sports medicine, minor surgery and in men’s health. He is a credentialed Visa panel physician and is also accredited to perform AMSA medicals, pre-employment and workplace injury management.

Annette Stevenson

Annette joined the team at Sonic HealthPlus Hobart in July 2017, with 18 years’ experience in General Practice. Her background encompasses many years of managing highly effective healthcare teams as a Practice Manager. She enjoys being an integral part of a friendly and productive team.

Annette’s years in General practice  she experienced managing Medical Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists, Health Screeners and administration teams, this ensures she is well positioned to assist and promote in a growing business in Hobart.

Brooke Bowerman

Brooke commenced with Sonic HealthPlus in 2016 as a Clinic Administration Officer on a casual basis. Brooke is now a Full Time employee she enjoys the flexibility of her role and the team she works with, as well as the pleasant and enjoyable working environment. Brooke’s high quality customer service is an asset to the clinic.

David Carruthers

David has over 12 years’ experience as an EP, and has spent time working all around Australia.  He has a passion for anything sports related and conducts fitness testing and musculoskeletal assessments here in Hobart.     

Grace Russell

Grace has worked for Sonic HealthPlus for five years as a Clinic Administration Officer.

After her first year of employment, Grace became the operational lead for the Australian Antarctic Division. In March 2017, she also completed training in Screening and now assists in this area at Sonic HealthPlus Hobart. Grace completed her Phlebotomy course in 2019. She enjoys the variety of tasks and responsibilities of her position with Sonic HealthPlus.

Melissa Gofton

Melissa has over 17 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse, with a background consisting mainly of neuroscience, maxilla facial, ENT and intensive care. She is also an authorised Nurse Immuniser, having completed her post-graduate certificate in 2014.

Molly Russell

Molly joined Sonic HealthPlus in August of 2019 part time and shortly after was offered full time. In January 2020 completed her training in screening. Molly enjoys the fast pace work environment and hopes to further herself in the future within the medical industry.

Tabitha Tucker

Tabitha joined the Sonic team in 2018 she is a Registered Nurse with 20 plus years’ experience in clinical settings providing nursing care to diverse populations, including 15 years’ experience in general practice nursing.
