The Office Workstation Assessor workshop is specifically designed to give participants the practical skills to carry out assessments of the ergonomic and health and safety aspects of office workstations. During this one-day workshop, participants will gain the skills and confidence to carry out structured assessments within their own organisation and to compile clear and concise reports.
In addition to gaining valuable knowledge about how to be personally safe and comfortable at work, participants will find themselves well placed to assist their current (or future) employer to discharge legislative duties to appropriately induct, educate and monitor employees who carry out work at office workstations.
Sonic HealthPlus’ workshop facilitators are all qualified Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists with extensive industry experience in providing both proactive health and safety assessments and workplace based rehabilitation for persons working at office workstations.
Participants will be supervised while conducting assessments during the workshop and will be able to submit their first three (3) independent reports for review and feedback from their facilitator, building their confidence to work independently (conditions apply).
Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued with a Certificate of Completion – Office Workstation Assessor Workshop.
