There is a new common symptom of the flu, in addition to the usual headaches, runny nose, fever and sore throat. 

According to Google, an accurate predictor of the flu is in fact your search history – something many of us check out before thinking to call a doctor.

Among many other awe-inspiring applications, Google are now tracking our search history to predict flu outbreaks, sometimes a week or 10 days before they occur.
