We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.

About Our Clinic
Our clinic is situated in a retail precinct on Sandridge Road, only four minutes from the Bunbury CBD. Our location enables us to be easily accessible for all businesses that require occupational health services for their workers.
As locals of the Bunbury area we understand the important needs of our patients which is why we have tailored our services specifically for the needs of our community. Our occupational health services extend to include employment medicals, injury management and prevention, drug and alcohol testing, and immunisations. We also provide on-site screening for drug and alcohol testing, personal health assessments, and flu vaccination programmes.
Bookings and Appointments
Please ring (08) 9722 4698 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time; however emergencies will be given priority.
Appointment times are approximately 10 minutes – please tell the reception staff if you require a longer appointment time.
Every effort is made to attend to walk in patients with an urgent matter. However in some instances, it will be requested that you make an appointment at a later date and time to accommodate your needs.
Your Rights
If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or contact the Clinic Manager, on (08) 9722 4698. We take concerns, suggestions and complaints very seriously and will deal with any matters that come to us. All complaints will be followed up and in writing if requested.
You may prefer to contact Sonic HealthPlus Head Office on (08) 9242 0800 or via post at PO Box 1237 Osborne Park WA 6916 or to the Health and Disability Services Complaints Office on 1800 813 583 or via post at PO Box B61 Perth, WA 6836. We can provide you with a copy of the complaint form if required.
Fees and Billing
Sonic HealthPlus Bunbury is a private billing practice. All consultations are to be paid for on the day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos. The practice bulk bills children under 16 and concession holders at the doctor’s discretion. Should you be eligible, please bring your Medicare Card, Concession Card or Veterans Affairs card to each consult. Medical record requests have a fee attached.
Our team consists of three doctors, a clinic nurse, exercise physiologist, three occupational health technicians and clinical administration staff who are skilled in treating the occupational health requirements of your business. Although we all have different roles and positions within our clinic, we work as a team to ensure a high standard of health care is delivered to every patient that we see each day.

Dr Lia works with our Bunbury clinic on a part time basis and completes occupational health medicals, injury management, AMSA and OGUK medicals.

Dr Tim Knowles
Medical Practitioner
Dr Tim Knowles first started with Sonic HealthPlus in January 2008 and is a part time occupational health doctor, completing a range of occupation health medicals as well as injury management at our Bunbury clinic. He spends the rest of his time as a general practitioner and occupation health doctor at the Sonic HealthPlus Mandurah clinic. As a senior Doctor with Sonic HealthPlus, Dr Knowles brings extensive knowledge and support to the team.

Exercise Physiologist
David is the clinic Exercise Physiologist with the Sonic HealthPlus Bunbury team, holding a full membership and accreditation with ESSA.
David’s role within the clinic is the delivery of musculoskeletal and fitness assessments. David also provides on-site ergonomic assessments to our valued clients.
