The team at Sonic HealthPlus Joondalup Drive Medical Centre are highly trained within their medical discipline. This means our treating doctors are skilled and passionate in the medical service they provide their patients, regardless of the service.

Meet Our Team

Dr Andrew O’Shea


Dr Andrew O’Shea obtained a degree in Immunology, before completing Medical School and graduating as a Doctor in 2003 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr O’Shea has worked in a variety of hospital positions in both the UK and Australia before completing Specialist General Practice training. He has competed further postgraduate qualifications including Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and Certificate in Skin Cancer, Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr O’Shea has practiced at Joondalup Drive since 2012. He has been involved with teaching medical students and is an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Andrew is experienced in all aspects of General Practice and has a special interest in Paediatrics, Men’s Health, Chronic disease management, Travel Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Workers Compensation. Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family and travelling, which has included Teaching English in China and assisting rural Medical Clinics in South Africa.

Dr Charles McKibbin


Dr Charles McKibbin graduated from Medicine (MBChB) at the University of Dundee in 2005. His undergraduate studies included a bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology (BSc(MedSci)) at the University of Glasgow. His postgraduate training was undertaken in the west of Scotland, completing GP training in 2011 (MRCGP). He immigrated to Australia later that year after working and travelling in Ireland and gained Fellowship of the RACGP.

Dr McKibbin has particular interests in general dermatology, skin cancer medicine, cosmetic dermatology, neonatal/infant health, men's health and occupational health. He has completed postgraduate training in skin cancer medicine, aesthetic medicine and general dermatology, holding qualifications from the University of Queensland and Bond University.

His interests outside of medicine include boating to Rottnest Island, caravanning, AFL and travelling whenever possible.

Dr Jade Jagoe-Banks


Dr Jade Jagoe-Banks has been at Joondalup Drive Medical Centre since 2015. In 2010, she completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia where she graduated with honours.

Dr Jagoe-Banks received her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2015. She holds a DRANZCOG qualification, and the year she sat the practical examination, she was awarded the medal for the highest mark in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Jagoe-Banks also holds a Diploma of Child Health.

Dr Jagoe-Banks has a keen interest in Women's Health and Paediatrics, with a special interest in pregnancy. She offers shared care to her patients where she is able to look after their pregnancy until 36 weeks if eligible. In her spare time, Dr Jagoe-Banks is part of a community singing group, and she also enjoys spending time with her young family and her cocker spaniel.

Dr James Buck


Dr James Buck graduated from the University of Southhampton in the UK and has been a GP for 11 years, joining the clinic in 2013. His special areas of interest include chronic disease management, occupational health and paediatrics. James enjoys fishing, swimming and looking after his young family.

Dr John Crawford


Dr John Crawford is the founder of Joondalup Drive clinic. Dr Crawford graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1980 and has been in General Medicine for over 26 years. He has a previous background in respiratory and cardiac medicine and worked for a number of years at Slade Hospital in the UK. His special interests in medicine are dermatology, occupational health & obesity management. John enjoys playing golf and has a keen interest in philosophy, philately and art renaissance history.

Dr Ross Haston


Dr Ross Haston has been with Joondalup Drive since he emigrated from Scotland in February 2012. He graduated the University of Glasgow in 2004 and completed further studies predominantly in Orthopaedics & plastic surgery, gaining membership with the MRCS in 2007. Dr Haston's particular interests within General Practice are skin cancer screening, minor procedures, Orthopaedics & occupational health. When he’s not at work or spending quality time with his young family, Ross enjoys participating in Crossfit, soccer and watching AFL and tennis.

Dr Shaun Sinclair


Dr Shaun Sinclair graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2009 and has since worked as a junior medical officer SCGH, PMH. He additionally completed 6 months in emergency medicine in country NSW. Dr Sinclair completed his GP training and attained fellowship in 2015. He has also completed a diploma in Children’s Health. He has a particular focus in men's health and paediatric medicine. Shaun enjoys good food and wine and follows multiple sports including AFL, he also enjoys spending time with his family and his two young children.

Dr Stephanie Van Der Moezel


Dr Stephanie van der Moezel obtained her medical degree from the University of Western Australia in 2013. She then spent her resident years at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus gathering experience in all areas of medicine. 

Dr van der Moezel completed most of her general practice training at Joondalup Drive Medical Centre, starting in 2018. She enjoys all areas of general practice, and values caring for the whole family at any age. Her particular interests are women’s health, children’s health, including pregnancy, the postnatal period, all the way through to caring for adolescents and the challenges that can bring.

Outside of medicine, Dr van der Moezel enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, accumulating cookbooks and trying out new recipes.

Dr Rachel Lim

General Practitioner

Dr Rachel Lim completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Western Australia in 2015 and obtained fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2020.  Dr Lim also holds a Diploma of Child Health (DCH). She enjoys all areas of General Practice and has special interests in women's health (Mirena and Implanon insertion and removals), antenatal care, paediatrics, dermatology, and minor procedures.  

 Prior to becoming a GP, Dr Lim worked at a number of hospitals across Western Australia including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, Kalgoorlie Hospital and has also spent time working in hospice care with Silver Chain.

Dr Robert Chandler

General Practitioner

Dr Robert Chandler is a medical graduate of the University of Western Australia. His postgraduate studies include Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GP, Diploma of Obstetrics RCOG, and Master of Science (Gerontology) at Curtin University.

He has worked as a solo rural GP on the Darling Downs - QLD for 8 years, as a neurosurgical assistant at SJOG Hospital Subiaco, and in areas of Rehabilitation and Aged Care within WA in both hospital and community settings. Dr Chandler most recently worked as a General Practitioner, and the Medical Director of a University Student Health Service.

 Dr Chandler’s clinical interests are in the areas of Chronic disease management, Men’s health, Travel Medicine and Skin screening. Outside of medicine, his other interests include spending time with family, ocean paddling, cycling, trekking, and Junior AFL football.

Dr Ditza Teng

General Practitioner Registrar

Dr Ditza Teng earned her medical degree from the University of Western Australia, undertaking her internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and subsequently completing her residency at Joondalup Health Campus. During her residency, she dedicated additional time to working in Paediatrics. Dr Teng has successfully completed the Sydney Child Health Program, obtained a Certificate of Reproductive and Sexual Health, and achieved a dual masters in Public Health and Health Leadership/Management.

Being a mother herself, Dr Teng is passionately committed to assisting other mothers navigate the challenges of parenthood. She provides evidence-based advice and guidance, emphasising the significance of establishing a secure, confidential, and supportive environment for her patients, particularly for adolescents.

Dr Teng's areas of expertise encompass child and adolescent health, reproductive and sexual health, breastfeeding medicine, women's health, and proficiency in Implanon insertion and removal. Her holistic approach to healthcare reflects her dedication to promoting the well-being of her patients throughout their various life stages.

Dr Morgane Davies

General Practitioner Registrar

Dr Morgane Davies is a female GP Registrar with local training. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science followed by a postgraduate medical degree from UWA. Dr Davies gained valuable experience through several years of service at Fiona Stanley Hospital and, more recently, Perth Children's Hospital. Her focus lies in sexual and reproductive health, women's health, and pediatrics. Dr Davies has successfully completed the Sydney Child Health Program and is currently pursuing a certificate in sexual and reproductive health. Key areas of interest: sexual health, women's health, paediatrics. 

 

Anna Selaru

Practice Manager

Anna has been in the medical industry for 15 years and has been managing Joondalup Drive Medical Centre for 10 of those years. Her passions are within General Practice and offering the best service and care to patients from a holistic team approach. Since July 2021 she has also been managing the Sonic HealthPlus Joondalup clinic with a focus on Corporate Health. When she’s not racing between the two clinics she manages, you’ll find her walking along the beach with toes in the sand or cooking up a storm for friends in the kitchen.
