Our team are passionate about the role they play in supporting the health of the Western Australians workforce. While we all have our own role to play within our clinic, our approach is collaborative and we work together to ensure the delivery of our high quality services.

Dr Wei Goh

Medical Practitioner

Dr Wei Goh is a medical practitioner and occupational health doctor at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale. Dr Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009 and has additionally obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine through Curtin University in 2013. Starting at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale in 2015, Dr Goh completes pre-employment assessments, rail track medicals, AMSA medicals, Fitness to Drive Assessments, injury management, travel medicine, vaccinations and health surveillance assessments for our clients. Dr Goh enjoys working at the Kewdale clinic – specifically due to the large variety of cases and the support received from the friendly front office.

Dr Catherine Hurworth

Occupational Physician Registrar

Dr Catherine Hurworth is a senior occupation physician registrar who has worked at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale since 2010. Dr Hurworth graduated with a medical degree from the University of Cape Town in 1997 and continued her studies to receive an MBChB and Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine. Her duties at our clinic include workers’ compensation, injury management – including management of acute injuries and telehealth, liaising with employers and insurers, fitness for work assessments, employment medical assessments - including safety critical rail medial and commercial drivers medicals, doctor on call roster for remote mine site support, health surveillance for legislated hazardous substances, worksite visits and overseeing worksite-worker interaction. Dr Hurworth particularly enjoys the variability, challenges, client relationships and great team at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale.

Dr Kiat Tang

Specialist Occupational and Environmental Physician

Dr Kiat Tang has been an occupational health doctor at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale since 2015. Dr Tang completed a Medical Degree through the University of Western Australia in 2001 and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine and Health Safety in 2010. Dr Tang manages work-related injuries and conditions, employment and industry medicals, health surveillance assessments and fitness for work assessments for our patients. Dr Tang enjoys the variety of work at the Kewdale clinic and embraces the opportunities to engage and relate with various important stakeholders and individual workers, their employers, insurers and other healthcare providers.

Dr Anita Dangal

Occupational Physician Registrar

Dr Anita Gautam Dangal is an Occupational Physician Registrar at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2005 and has additionally obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine through Curtin University in 2018.

Dr Dangal offers comprehensive fitness for work assessment, health surveillance assessments, injury management and return to work programs, pre-placement medical assessments and travel medicine. She is also an authorised health professional for rail medicals and AMSA medicals.

Leanne Baker

Practice Manager

Leanne Baker is the Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale Clinic Manager, first starting with Sonic HealthPlus in 2007. Leanne manages a busy clinic and is responsible for the overall operations of our medical practice, ensuring the clinic is running efficiently and effectively. Leanne enjoys her role at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale, working alongside a fabulous team consisting of occupational health physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, admin and occupational health technicians. The team at Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale work effectively together and create a clinical office setting that Leanne is proud of.

Robert Milne

Senior Physiotherapist

Robert Milne is our Senior Physiotherapist who has worked at Sonic HealthPlus since 2007. Completing his BSC Hons in Physiotherapy through King’s College in 2003, Robert performs injury management of patients and the physical component of medicals at our clinic.

Practice Nurses

Yusuf and Amanda are our Practice Nurses. They assist our doctors in wound management, health assessment and injury management.

Both are qualified in phlebotomy, immunisations and vaccinations and conduct preliminary medical assessments, audiometry testing and spirometry testing as a part of their roles.

Yusuf and Amanda are compassionate, caring and enjoy their daily interactions with many of their patients.

Administration Team

Our busy administration team includes five professionals with extensive experience managing the administration side of the health industry. Highly knowledgeable on our clinic and the services we provide, our administration team are the first point of contact and assist all patients efficiently and effectively.

Occupational Health Technicians

Sonic HealthPlus Kewdale has three occupational health technicians who assist our doctors in the delivery of our services. Experienced and passionate in worker/workplace health care, our occupational health technicians enjoy the variety in their work and building lasting relationships with patients and businesses.
