Our dedicated occupational health clinic offers comprehensive health services to support the health and wellbeing of the Parramatta workforce.
Our services include:
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Drug and alcohol testing has been shown to improve productivity and help employers to support workers who struggle with substance abuse. Our collectors are NATA accredited to AS/NZS 4308:2008 standards for urine drug testing and collection.
Hearing assessments are undertaken to evaluate the sensitivity of a patient’s sense of hearing. This assessment can be requested by an employer, during a health assessment or if there is a reason for concern. Hearing assessments aid our doctors in identifying any potential problem with a patient’s hearing and provide a baseline reading for workers on loud work sites.
Injury Management and Prevention
Injured workers have immediate access to a range of medical personnel to ensure an integrated and prompt recovery with optimal outcomes for both the employee and employer. Our doctors work alongside allied health professionals and are experts in treating and returning injured workers back to the workplace as soon as it is safe to do so.
Employment medicals are performed to ensure an employee is fit to work in a specific environment. This comprehensive medical ensures the employee can fulfil the requirements of the role and will identify and protect the employee from potentially harmful work environments. At the Parramatta clinic there is a comprehensive medical team including doctors, physiotherapist, nurses and health screener who specialise in employment assessments.
Our doctors have completed additional comprehensive training which allows them to perform specialised medicals including:
Health surveillance is the systematic approach to monitoring the health of an individual over time. Often a legal requirement in the workplace, health surveillance monitors exposure to noise, vibration, ionising radiation, solvents, fumes, dust, biological agents and other substances hazardous to an employee’s health.
