Dr Chris completed a Bachelor of Science degree through the University of Queensland prior to completing his medicine degree in 2006 through James Cook University. Dr Chris has additionally completed a Masters in Occupational Health and Safety and has a special interest in occupational medicine. Dr Chris has been with Sonic HealthPlus for over two years and enjoys working with employees and clients to maintain their health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Dr Stephen has worked exclusively in occupational medicine since 2011 and has been with Sonic HealthPlus Southport since 2014. Dr Stephen graduated with his MBBS in 2004 from Monash University and has gained extensive experience in general practice, sport and exercise medicine, injury management, and pharmaceutical research. Dr Stephen brings his passion in health and wellness to his patients and enjoys collaborating with the employer in all aspects of workplace medicine.
Dr Charles was schooled in Adelaide, South Australia and relocated to the Gold Coast in 2002. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science Degree before completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in an inaugural Gold Coast Medical Program. Dr Charles undertook Internship, Junior House Officer and Senior House Officer years at the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service before completing Principal House Officer years in Private Practice. Dr Charles has significant experience within the specialties of internal medicine, emergency medicine, rural and remote medicine, ophthalmology, and sports medicine.
Dr Charles has attained publications in peer-reviewed journals and has completed further postgraduate studies in clinical occupational medicine. Dr Charles is a lecturer at the Griffith University School of Medicine, currently works as an occupational medical practitioner at Southport clinic.
Tanya has over 20 years' experience in the primary healthcare sector including various senior management positions working with a medical software provider. Working at Sonic HealthPlus since 2011, Tanya is passionate about empowering her team to provide superior client service and quality patient care.
Gloria is the 2IC at the Southport Clinic. She has a strong focus on organisation and healthcare and thoroughly enjoys working with people. Gloria brings great energy and attitude to the workplace environment. Her dedication, organisation and attention to detail makes her a valued member of the Southport clinic.
Victoria joined the Sonic Health Plus team in 2018 after making the move from New Zealand. After successfully completing a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a certificate in healthcare and support, she developed a background in workplace vaccinations and has been working as a Registered Nurse in multiple general practices over the past 5 years. Victoria particularly enjoys phlebotomy and wound care but overall loves nursing in general.
Codaey completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Exercise and Science at University of the Sunshine Coast, and postgraduate certificate at University of Queensland in Electrocardiogram Analysis and Interpretation. At Sonic HealthPlus he conducts musculoskeletal, fitness testing, functional capacity assessments, and clinical measurements in pulmonary and audiometry. He also completes Drug and Alcohol testing.
