General Practice
We encourage our patients to either phone our friendly administration team, or book online appointments through our website.
Occupational Health
We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.
Appointments are necessary for all occupational health services on Saturday.
Parking & Public Transport
Sonic HealthPlus West Perth (Leederville) is conveniently located 2.2 kilometres from the Perth CBD.
We are accessible via Perth’s public transport network and offer onsite parking which can be accessed via Kingston Avenue.
We have one allocated disabled car park located at the back of our clinic and have a ramp for wheelchair access. If you require any assistance, please ask our staff members.
Our Practice
Here are some tips to make your experience with us go smoothly as possible.
Calling your GP:
Your GP will try to take your call but may be away or busy with patients. Please let us know if it is urgent.
Test Results:
Please book an appointment to get your test results. Only in rare cases this can be done over the phone, at the GPs discretion.
Specialist Referrals:
These must be done during a consultation with your GP. Repeat referrals are given at your GPs discretion and you may be charged a fee.
Medical Certificates:
You must make an appointment to get a medical certificate and, we regret they cannot be backdated.
Recalls & Reminders:
Our reminder system is to tell you about recurring healthcare issues such as annual check-ups, care planning and immunisations. Please advise reception if you want to opt out of reminders.
You may be asked back for a follow up appointment, if your GP advises.
About Our Clinic
Sonic HealthPlus West Perth (Leederville) is conveniently located 2.2 kilometres from the Perth CBD on Newcastle Street. We are easily accessible for all Perth locals with our clinic serviced by Perth’s public transport network.
The number 15 bus stop is close by and departs every 15 minutes the CBD. Our clinic offers general practice, occupational health, injury management and travel medicine for all new and existing patients.
We offer a wide range of services, encompassing women's health, family medicine, men's health, skin screening, employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing, and beyond. Our extensive travel medicine service provides travellers with a complete selection of vaccines and medical kits. Prioritising the health and wellbeing of our community is a fundamental commitment of our specialised doctors. Our team of medical experts is dedicated to delivering the best clinical services tailored to the needs of both your family and workforce.
Bookings and Appointments
Please ring (08) 9328 5233 for (Clinic) or (08) 9228 5222 for (SSU) for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time; however emergencies will be given priority.
Appointment times are approximately 10 minutes – please tell the reception staff if you require a longer appointment time.
Every effort is made to attend to walk in patients with an urgent matter. However in some instances, it will be requested that you make an appointment at a later date and time to accommodate your needs.
Your Rights
If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or contact the Clinic Manager, on (08) 9328 5233. We take concerns, suggestions and complaints very seriously and will deal with any matters that come to us. All complaints will be followed up and in writing if requested.

Fees and Billing
Sonic HealthPlus West Perth (Leederville) is a private billing practice. All consultations are to be paid for on the day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos. The practice bulk bills children under 16 and concession holders at the doctor’s discretion. Should you be eligible, please bring your Medicare Card, Concession Card or Veterans Affairs card to each consult. Medical record requests have a fee attached.

Dr Adeline Fong
Medical Practitioner
Dr Adeline Fong, a University of Western Australia graduate, brings over a decade of experience in general practice medicine. With more than ten years dedicated to Sonic HealthPlus, she has excelled in the role of a general practitioner. Dr Fong is passionate about all facets of family medicine and has a special focus on women's and children's health.
Dr Eddy Bajrovic
Medical Practitioner
Dr Eddy Bajrovic, a graduate of the University of Western Australia with an MBBS in 1983, has been an integral part of Sonic HealthPlus since its inception. Initially serving as a General Practitioner, he transitioned to the role of Medical Director of Travelvax Australia in 2008. Dr Bajrovic has a rich background, having served as a director on the board of Gemini Medical Services and maintaining a full-time role as a GP with a keen interest in travel medicine and occupational medicine.
At Sonic HealthPlus West Perth, Dr Bajrovic finds fulfillment in the diversity and challenges of his position, allowing him the freedom to explore his own clinical interests. Taking on the role of Medical Director at Travelvax Australia, he embraces the myriad challenges and responsibilities, actively contributing to the ongoing education of doctors and nurses in the practice of travel medicine.
Dr Shane Tully
General Practitioner
Dr Tully is General Practitioner on the specialist register with AHPRA and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in Medicine from University College Dublin and also has a degree in Pharmacy from Trinity College Dublin. He underwent his GP training in University College Dublin and has worked as a GP in Perth since 2017.
He enjoys all aspects of general practice but has undergone further training in Paediatrics, Occupational Medicine and Pharmacology, and Travel Medicine.
Dr Louise Sparrow
Medical Practitioner
Dr Louise Sparrow grew up in Claremont and Dalkeith. After finishing a PhD specialising in molecular pathology of melanoma, she spent a couple of years in research overseas in the UK and returned to Perth in 1998 to obtain her FRACGP in 2000.
Dr Sparrow has a long history working within the Sonic HealthPlus group, originally working for Prime Health in Osborne Park then the CBD from 2001 to mid-2007. Dr Sparrow has now relocated from the IPN Subiaco Station Clinic to Sonic HealthPlus West Perth.

Dr Peter Winterton
Medical Practitioner
Dr Peter Winterton completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia is 1976 and in 1984 Dr Winterton gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
He has a strong presence in all areas of General Practice, having done Obstetrics for 20 years, paediatrics, age care and general medicine.
Peter is also skilled in doing minor skin surgery. He has been involved in both undergraduate and post graduate teaching for his entire career.
He is multilingual speaking German and some Italian. He is renowned for his gentle and compassionate approach to the most complex of issues.
Dr Babatunde Coker
General Practitioner
Dr Babatunde Coker earned his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2005. Seeking specialised training in Family Medicine, he furthered his education in the United Kingdom and achieved membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2015. With over 15 years of dedicated practice, Dr Coker has honed his skills in diverse areas such as Women's Health, Men's Health, Child Health, Management of Chronic Diseases, Minor Surgeries, and Pathology.
Dr Coker is also an accredited Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). His professional interests extend to Musculoskeletal Medicine and comprehensive Skin Care, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Babatunde Coker is a bilingual doctor, fluent in both English and Yoruba, further enhancing his ability to connect with and serve a diverse range of patients.
Dr Sibgha Arif
General Practitioner
Dr Sibgha Arif first started at Sonic HealthPlus in 2016. She brings with her extensive knowledge in the fields of women's health, dermatology, and children's health.
Natasha Lawrence
Practice Manager
Natasha serves as the clinic manager at West Perth, bringing over eight years of dedicated service to Sonic HealthPlus. With extensive expertise, particularly in the Occupational Health sector, Natasha excels in her role. She expresses gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside the exceptional team at West Perth, acknowledging their collective contributions to the clinic's success.
Frontline Reception Team
Our frontline team consists of ten locals who have over 65 years' combined administration experience, and 60 years' of nursing experience. As dedicated administrators of general practice and occupational health, our administration and nursing teams are your first point of contact and can assist you with any queries you may have about our clinic and the services we provide.

Drug and Alcohol Testing
Drug and alcohol testing has been shown to improve productivity and help employers support workers who struggle with substance abuse.
Employment Medicals
Employment Medicals are performed to ensure an employee is fit to work in a specific environment. This comprehensive medical ensures the employee can fulfil the requirements of the role and will identify and protect the employee from potentially harmful work environments.
Hearing Assessments
Hearing assessments are completed to evaluate the sensitivity of a patient’s sense of hearing. This assessment can be requested by an employer, during a health assessment, or if there is reason for concern. Hearing assessments aid our doctors in identifying any potential problem with a patient’s hearing and provide a baseline reading for workers on loud work sites.
Injury Management and Prevention
Injured workers have immediate access to a range of medical personnel to ensure an integrated and prompt recovery with optimal outcomes for both the employee and employer. Our doctor’s work alongside allied health professionals and are experts in treating and returning injured workers back to the workplace as soon as it is safe to do so.

Skin Screening

In partnership with one of Australia’s largest travel medicine providers, Travelvax, we can provide you and your workforce with a range of travel vaccinations, travel accessories and travel health plans. Our clinic is government accredited to provide yellow fever vaccinations. We can provide you with a range of vaccines, including the yellow fever vaccine, and international certificate of vaccination in accordance with international health regulations.
