Dr Adeline Fong is a graduate of the University of Western Australia and has worked in general practice medicine for over ten years. Dr Fong has been with Sonic HealthPlus for over 10 years in the role of general practitioner. Dr Fong enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a special interest in women’s and children’s health.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Dr Andrew Fairhurst completed his medical training through the Royal Free Hospital Medical School, University of London in 1991. Dr Fairhurst gained his MRCGP (UK) and his Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1996. He received post graduate hospital training and experience within the United Kingdom and the Sunshine Coast before settling in Western Australia. Prior to his move, Dr Fairhurst was a partner in a busy NHS practice in the United Kingdom before seeing the light and moving somewhere less grey and damp. Dr Fairhurst has been with Sonic HealthPlus since 2010 in the role of WorkCover WA Medical Specialist and as a general practitioner. Dr Fairhurst has a special interest in occupational medicine, injury management and as an approved WorkCover WA Medical Specialist, is equipped in all Medico-legal medicine.
Dr Eddy Bajrovic studied medicine at the University of Western Australia and graduated with an MBBS in 1983. He has been with Sonic HealthPlus since our inception, working as a general practitioner and from 2008 as the medical director of Travelvax Australia. Dr Bajrovic has served as a director on the board of Gemini Medical Services and has worked as a full time GP with an active interest in travel medicine and occupational medicine. Dr Bajrovic enjoys working at Sonic HealthPlus West Perth due to the diversity and challenge of his position which allows him freedom to pursue his own clinical interests. Taking on the position of the Medical Director of Travelvax Australia, Dr Bajrovic has enjoyed the many challenges and responsibilities of this role. Particularly, playing an active role in the ongoing education of doctors and nurses in the practice of travel medicine.
Dr Evan Jenkins studied a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) through the University of Western Australia, graduating in 1992. Dr Jenkins gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2004. Dr Jenkins has been with our company for over 17 years in the role of general practitioner and occupational health medical provider. Dr Jenkins enjoys working with our energetic Sonic HealthPlus West Perth team and making a real difference to all patients he sees.
Dr Garry Vanderveen studied in Dunedin, New Zealand completing Physiotherapy and then his Medicine/MBCHB degree in 1994. Dr Vanderveen’s internship was undertaken in New South Wales, followed by general practice training here in Western Australia. Dr Vanderveen worked at a south of the river general practice for 12 years prior to joining Sonic HealthPlus in Karratha, eventually joining Sonic HealthPlus West Perth in 2012. Dr Vanderveen enjoys the variety of work at our clinic and covers general practice, occupational health and travel medicine. His main interest is in injury management and return-to-work cases.
Dr Marc Adonis graduated with an MBBS from the University of Western Australia in 1965. He was previously the managing director of Delta Health, before taking on a director position at our company. Dr Adonis’ current role is multifaceted with injury management, education, and training. Dr Adonis enjoys the variation of his role, particularly the contact with lots of young and bright people.
Dr Louise Sparrow grew up in Claremont and Dalkeith. After finishing a PhD specialising in molecular pathology of melanoma, she spent a couple of years in research overseas in the UK and returned to Perth in 1998 to obtain her FRACGP in 2000.
Dr Sparrow has a long history working within the Sonic HealthPlus group, originally working for Prime Health in Osborne Park then the CBD from 2001 to mid-2007. Dr Sparrow has now relocated from the IPN Subiaco Station Clinic to Sonic HealthPlus West Perth.

Dr Murphy studied in Ireland, before moving to Western Australia. She has spent several years in medical specialties in the WA hospital system and has most recently worked in the Occupational Health sphere.
Dr Murphy has experience dealing with many different types of work sites and in injury management as well general medical conditions in general practice. She is currently a member of Australia Society of Aerospace Medicine, Medical Review Officer Association, Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine and Oil and Gas UK.
Richard Ingram is one of our Physiotherapists with experience across many our Western Australian clinics since 2014. Richard completed his BSc in Physiotherapy in 2010 and performs varied Physiotherapy services including Physiotherapy treatment, injury management, rehabilitation and pre-placement medicals assessments.
Michelle Berry is the clinic manager at Sonic HealthPlus West Perth. Michelle completed a Certificate IV in Business Administration through Ballarat Victoria in 2004 before moving into a management role within the health and fitness industry. Michelle has been with Sonic HealthPlus for over five years, working in clinic administration, as a clinic 2IC, and has been our clinic manager for over three years. Michelle is proud of the team that she manages and feels fortunate to have a role with variation and which provides the many opportunities that come while working within a large organisation such as Sonic HealthPlus.
Our frontline team consists of ten locals who have over 65 years' combined administration experience, and 60 years' of nursing experience. As dedicated administrators of general practice and occupational health, our administration and nursing teams are your first point of contact and can assist you with any queries you may have about our clinic and the services we provide.
