Terms and Conditions – Flu Vaccination Services


Prices are maintained at the same rate for the term of the financial year, but may be subject to change with 30 days written notice.


  1. Cancellation fees will apply if cancellation of a site visit occurs within one (1) week of the scheduled vaccination date. A fee of 75% of the proposed cost for the scheduled trip / service will be administered.
  2. Mileage and/or Travel time charges apply to Regional/Rural client sites. Regional/Rural is defined by locations >50km from an Australian capital city (with the following postcodes: QLD – Brisbane 4000, WA – Perth 6000, NSW – Sydney 2000, TAS – Hobart 7000, SA – Adelaide 5000, NT – Darwin 0800, VIC – Melbourne 3000, ACT – Canberra 2600).
    • Mileage is charged at 85c/km
    • Travel time is charged at $95/hr
  3. Regional travel requiring flights, time is calculated from check in at airport of origin to arrival time back at airport of origin for same day visits. Where the site visit requires flights and there is a delay in return flight or no same day return, any wait time will be charged at $95/hr.
  4. Travel Allowances apply to Regional/Rural jobs:
    • Meals $80/day
    • Overnight fee $150/night (only applicable in the event of unscheduled overnight stay)
  5. Any flights, accommodation, car hire, ground transport, paid parking and any relevant induction or site-specific training costs (including time) are the responsibility of the client. Any expenses on charged to the client will incur a 10% handling fee.
  6. Hours outside ‘Normal business’ (6am to 6pm Monday to Friday) will incur a 25% surcharge.
  1. Participating staff numbers are per site location / per booking (rather than a sum total of participants from more than 1 site / booking). Client site refers to any unique physical address.
  2. Minimum charges apply:
    • Vaccinations – Qty 12 per client site
  3. Sonic HealthPlus base time of Nurse on site on a ratio of 2 vaccinations every 5 minutes consecutively (6 vaccinations per 15 minutes). If additional time is required for vaccinating, or Nurse incurs a wait period this will be charged at $30 per 15 minutes.
  4. Sonic HealthPlus will order the number of vaccines requested by the client seven days prior to the job date. 1 business day before Nurse is scheduled to be on site, SHP will close the bookings diary and confirm final booking numbers. Final numbers can be no less than 10% of the original request. For example, if 40 vaccines are requested 7 day before your scheduled booking, 1 business day prior to Sonic HealthPlus coming on site we will confirm your final numbers, you can reduce your order by 10% only, and the minimum charge will therefore be 36.
  5. Sonic HealthPlus Nurses carry a small amount of surplus vaccine with them. In the event additional people are wishing to be vaccinated the nurse may be able to accommodate. This is at the nurses’ discretion on the day and is subject to time permitting and stock on hand. Any additional vaccinations will be charged at the agreed rate at time final confirmation.
  6. Sonic HealthPlus partners with Medimobile for onsite flu vaccinations. Job booking details including (but not limited to) company name, contact persons phone and email, site address and requested number of vaccinations will be supplied to Medimobile upon receiving a booking request. If you do not wish for your onsite flu program to be administered by Medimobile, this needs to be advised at time of booking request.

  1. Prepaid flu vouchers can be redeemed only at a Sonic HealthPlus Clinic or Travel Doctor-TMVC Clinic (does not include Travel Doctor-TMVC Licensees).
  2. To redeem your voucher you must call and book an appointment with the (Sonic HealthPlus or Travel Doctor-TMVC) clinic.
  1. Vouchers are prepaid and non-refundable.
  2. Flu Vouchers expire on 31st of August 2022.

Sonic HealthPlus’ Terms and Conditions located at www.sonichealthplus.com.au omprise the entire terms of the contract for the provision of the services outlined in this Quote (Contract). Sonic HealthPlus’ Terms will also apply to further contracts with you unless otherwise agreed in writing. In the case of any inconsistency between this Quote and Sonic HealthPlus’ Terms (including Sonic HealthPlus’ policies), the terms of the Quote will prevail.


COVID-19 UPDATE: All persons attending a medical appointment at a Sonic HealthPlus clinic will be required to complete a COVID-19 Triage Assessment form. If you are not vaccinated or fully vaccinated, we will need to undertake a risk assessment, which may include Rapid Antigen Testing.

Please note: Patients who attend for their medical assessment presenting with flu-like symptoms or have recently travelled from a COVID hotspot may be turned away.
