Terms and Conditions – Flu Vaccination Services


  • Flu Vouchers can be redeemed only at a Sonic HealthPlus Clinic or Travel Doctor-TMVC Clinic (does not include Travel Doctor-TMVC licensees), and are subject to prior booking by telephone.
  • Flu Vouchers are not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed, photocopied or altered in any way and will not be accepted by Sonic HealthPlus or be otherwise redeemable.
  • Flu Vouchers are prepaid and cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new voucher or be replaced after expiry and are not legal tender.
  • Flu Vouchers expire on 31st of August 2021.

  • If services to be provided by Sonic HealthPlus on a certain date (Service Date) are cancelled by the client less than one (1) week before the Service Date, Sonic HealthPlus will charge a fee equal to 75% of the proposed cost for the scheduled trip / service.
  • Mileage and/or travel time charges apply to Regional/Rural client sites. Regional/Rural is defined by locations >50km from an Australian capital city (with the following postcodes: QLD – Brisbane 4000, WA – Perth 6000, NSW – Sydney 2000, TAS – Hobart 7000, SA – Adelaide 5000, NT – Darwin 0800, VIC – Melbourne 3000, ACT – Canberra 2600).
    • Mileage is charged at 85c/km
    • Travel time is charged at $80/hr
  • For Regional/Rural travel requiring flights, time is calculated from check in at airport of origin to arrival time back at airport of origin for same day visits. Where the site visit requires flights and there is a delay in return flight or no same day return, any wait time will be charged at $80/hr.
  • Travel allowances apply to Regional/Rural vaccination services:
    • Meals $80/day
    • Overnight fee $150/night (only applicable in the event of unscheduled overnight stay)
  • Any flights, accommodation, car hire, ground transport, paid parking and any relevant induction or site-specific training costs (including time) are the responsibility of the client. Any expenses on charged to the client will incur a 10% handling fee.
  • Hours outside ‘normal business’ (6am to 6pm Monday to Friday) will incur a 25% surcharge.
  • Participating staff numbers are per site location / per booking (rather than a sum total of participants from more than 1 site / booking). Client site refers to any unique physical address.
  • Minimum charges apply:
    • Vaccinations – Qty 10 per client site
  • Time of Nurse on site is based on a ratio of 3 vaccinations every 5 minutes consecutively. If additional time is required for vaccinating, or Nurse incurs a wait period, this will be charged at $30 per 15 minutes.
  • Sonic HealthPlus will order the number of vaccines requested by the client seven days prior to the job date. 1 business day before Nurse is scheduled to be on site, Sonic HealthPlus will close the bookings diary and confirm final booking numbers. Final numbers can be no more than 10% lower than the original request. For example, if 40 vaccines are requested 7 day before your scheduled booking, 1 business day prior to Sonic HealthPlus coming on site we will confirm your final numbers, you can reduce your order by up to 10% only, and the minimum charge will therefore be 36 vaccines.
  • Sonic HealthPlus Nurses carry a small amount of surplus vaccine with them. In the event that additional people request to be vaccinated, the Nurse may be able to accommodate this request. This is at the Nurse’s discretion on the day and is subject to time and stock on hand. Any additional vaccinations will be charged at the agreed rate at the time of final confirmation.
  • Sonic HealthPlus partners with Medimobile for on-site flu vaccinations. Job booking details including (but not limited to) company name, contact person’s phone number and email address, site address and requested number of vaccinations will be supplied to Medimobile upon receiving a booking request. If you do not wish for your on site flu program to be administered by Medimobile, please advise Sonic HealthPlus at the time of the booking request.

Sonic HealthPlus’ Terms and Conditions located at www.sonichealthplus.com.au apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions set out above. Together, they comprise the entire terms of the contract for the provision of the flu vaccination services by Sonic HealthPlus. In the case of any inconsistency between the Terms and Conditions set out above and Sonic HealthPlus’ Terms and Conditions located at www.sonichealthplus.com.au, the Terms and Conditions set out above will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
