Sonic HealthPlus Adelaide CBD is your local, comprehensive, one-stop-shop for all aspects of general practice, occupational health and travel medicine.
We are an accredited vaccination centre offering country specific vaccines and internationally recognised certification of your immunisation status. Our services are comprehensive and wide ranging to assist all types of patients whether it be adventure, corporate, family, group, student, or private travellers.
We tailor our services specifically to your destination/s and itinerary. Whether you are cruising the Caribbean, Skiing in Japan, working in remote locations, or simply taking the family for a holiday – our travel experts provide personalised advice to keep you, your family and your employees healthy on your travels.
The corporate division in our clinic provides health checks for your travelling workforce. With services including altitude, fitness for deployment medicals, overseas visa medical assessments and post travel medicals – we keep your employees healthy before they leave, while they are away, and on their return to Australia.
Our dedicated team are passionate about travel and have first-hand experience working and travelling within many of the destinations our patients visit. This allows us to provide travel medicine to a variety of travellers. As passionate travellers, we understand the risks and rewards associated with international travel.

Dr Arun Singla
Medical Practitioner
Dr Singla is an experienced medical practitioner with over 30 years of experience. Dr Singla qualified as a Specialist Dermatologist in India in 1992 and worked as a lecturer. He moved to Australia in 2002 and commenced work as a Senior Medical Practitioner in the General Medicine department at Flinders Medical Centre and Repatriation General Hospital in Adelaide. In 2004, he commenced a dermatology traineeship and worked at multiple hospitals in Adelaide.
Since 2014, Dr Singla has worked in a large corporate General Practice in a semi-rural area with a special interest in skin diseases and skin cancer assessment and management. He has vast experience in pre-employment medicals, occupational and work cover, sports related injuries and medical examinations for heavy duty commercial vehicles.
Dr Singla has been providing after-hours general practice service to the general community and elderly patients in nursing homes over the 10 years. He joined Sonic HealthPlus to continue to practising in skin cancer (Melanoma and non-melanoma) radiation exposure skin damages & safety measures, occupational health and work cover injury assessments; and, can now also do aviation medicals.

Dr Arvind Sehgal
Arvind is passionate about travel medicine and helping people stay healthy throughout your journey. He has worked across South Australia including remote and rural areas in general practice as well as providing training, supervising young trainee doctors in general practice. He is currently working part-time in aged care supporting older Australians living in residential aged care facilities. Arvind is an avid traveller and enjoys travel photography and indoor sports.

Dr Jing Lim
Medical Practitioner
Dr Lim graduated from The University of Tasmania in 2003 with first class honours. She completed her internship and hospital training at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, whereby she underwent training under the rotations of orthopaedics, emergency medicine, geriatric medicine and colorectal surgery. Dr Lim has extensive experience in acute care adult psychiatry as well as inpatient mental health treatment and has also participated in a rotation of community general practice training.
After having maternity leave with two young children, Dr Lim has decided that occupational medicine is her field of interest whereby she can utilise her skills from all previous rotations.
Dr Lim enjoys working hand in hand with the physiotherapist, occupational therapist and workplace coordinators to ensure a smooth and efficient transition back to work for workers who are injured.

Dr Paul Muffet
MBBS,FRACGP,Dip Obs
Dr Muffet has worked in General Practice for 11 years and has travelled extensively in developing countries. Dr Muffet began with Travel Doctor in 2011 and has a keen interest in tropical medicine and the post traveller. He has expert knowledge in comprehensive medical assessments as well as occupational immunisation advice for non-travellers (eg Health and veterinary professionals).
Dr Muffet provides Travel Medicine lectures for our clinicians through small learning group sessions. He also provides training to local General Practice trainees through his involvement with a local GP training provider.

Employment Medicals
Employment Medicals are performed to ensure an employee is fit to work in a specific environment. This comprehensive medical ensures the employee can fulfil the requirements of the role and will identify and protect the employee from potentially harmful work environments.
Medical Assessments
Medical assessments are performed to ensure an employee is fit to work within a specific environment, can fulfil the requirements of a role, and to protect them from potentially harmful work environments. These may include pre-employment medicals or site-specific medicals for a variety of mining or other projects.
Travel Medicine
In partnership with one of Australia’s largest travel medicine providers, Travelvax, we can provide you and your workforce with a range of travel vaccinations, travel accessories and travel health plans. Our clinic is government accredited to provide yellow fever vaccinations. We can provide you with a range of vaccines, including the yellow fever vaccine, and international certificate of vaccination in accordance with international health regulations.
