We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.
Parking & Public Transport
Our location within the Skygate precinct provides free onsite parking.
The Brisbane City Council bus network services our location, along with the courtesy Tbus from both the domestic and international terminals.

About Our Clinic
Sonic HealthPlus Brisbane Airport is situated within the Skygate Centre, conveniently located at the entrance to Brisbane Airport, off Airport Drive. The Tbus courtesy bus runs regularly connecting Brisbane domestic and international Terminals to the precinct. Skygate Centre is home to retail, dining and commercial properties including DFO, Golf Central and Woolworths.
This easily accessible complex offers our patients with plenty of free onsite parking.
Sonic HealthPlus Brisbane Airport provides a variety of occupational health and general practice services to those working, transitioning through domestic and international terminals or shopping within the Skygate precinct.
Specialising in employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing, and injury management, our clinic is the preferred choice to ensure the health and wellbeing of your workforce.
Our clinic has a fully equipped treatment room capable of managing most work-related injuries. Injured workers have access to a team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists to ensure an integrated and prompt return to work.
In addition to this, our clinic maintains accreditation standards as set out by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Quality Management Systems.
Bookings and Appointments
Please ring (07) 3291 8900 for (General Practice) or (07) 3291 8900 for (Occupational Health) for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time; however emergencies will be given priority.
Appointment times are approximately 10 minutes – please tell the reception staff if you require a longer appointment time.
Every effort is made to attend to walk in patients with an urgent matter. However in some instances, it will be requested that you make an appointment at a later date and time to accommodate your needs.
Your Rights
If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or contact the Clinic Manager, on (07) 3291 8900. We take concerns, suggestions and complaints very seriously and will deal with any matters that come to us. All complaints will be followed up and in writing if requested.

Fees and Billing
Sonic HealthPlus Brisbane Airport is a private billing practice. All consultations are to be paid for on the day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos. The practice bulk bills children under 16 and concession holders at the doctor’s discretion. Should you be eligible, please bring your Medicare Card, Concession Card or Veterans Affairs card to each consult. Medical record requests have a fee attached.
Our team comprises doctors, registered nurses, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and medical support staff who work together to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care. Each working within their area of expertise, our team provide a holistic approach to the patients we see each day.
Meet Our Team

Dr Dave Cormack
Occupational and Environmental Physician
Dr Dave has worked exclusively in occupational medicine since 2010, joining Sonic HealthPlus in 2014. Dr Dave has experience in many facets of occupational health, with a particular interest in health monitoring for hazardous chemicals and occupational noise exposure. Dr Dave is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) and a member of the Australian & New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine (ANZSOM).

Dr David Imlah
Medical Practitioner
Dr David graduated from Aberdeen University in 1987. After graduating, he completed vocational training in general practice, before working in both the UK and Australia until 1997. Whilst working in general practice, he completed a Diploma in Occupational Medicine via the UK Faculty of Occupational Medicine. In 1996 he commenced additional work as a medical adviser for Workcover Queensland. He went on to attain two further post graduate qualifications in Occupational Medicine; an Advanced Diploma from the University of Manchester and Associate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in the UK. He has worked for the last 20 years in Occupational Medicine and is widely experienced in all facets of practice. He returned to Australia in 2004 and has worked full-time for a variety of Occupational Medical organisations. He is currently an appointed Independent Medical Examiner for Workcover Queensland.

Dr Elizabeth Samoilenko
Medical Practitioner
Dr Elizabeth completed her medical degree in Brisbane at the University of Queensland in 2001. After working at the Mater Hospital Brisbane for six years, Dr Elizabeth moved into the workplace health realm in 2008.
Dr Elizabeth's interests are in all aspects of workplace health including performing specialised medicals (AMSA and rail) and injury management. Additionally, Dr Elizabeth has a special interest in preventive medicine, nutrition and wellness, often attending conferences on the latest developments in these areas.

Dr Haseeb Qureshi
Medical Practitioner, Occupational Physician Registrar
Dr Haseeb graduated in 2004. After few years of initial training in Pakistan, he relocated to Australia in 2008. Recently, Dr Haseeb finished his fellowship (FRACGP) from Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Alongside Occupational Health, his other interests include injury management, general practice including chronic disease, paediatrics, work cover injuries, skin cancer surgery.
Dr Haseeb completed his DCH (Diploma in Child Health) from Westmead Hospital, Sydney in 2016 and Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery from College of Skin Cancer Surgery, Australia. He is working towards his higher Qualifications in Skin Cancer Surgery.

Dr Ingrid Muller
Occupational Physician Registrar
Dr Ingrid is an Occupational Physician Registrar with the Australian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. She graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Dr Ingrid spent the following 20 years working in various hospital departments and as a general practitioner in Cape Town and New Zealand before moving to Brisbane in 2008. She completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine in 2001. Dr Ingrid is busy completing her Post-Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine, whilst also studying to become an Occupational Physician. Dr Ingrid started with Sonic HealthPlus in 2015 as an Occupational Physician Registrar and has obtained the Australian Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine (ACCAM) in February 2015 and is a member of the Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine (ASAM) and a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME).

Dr Lars Lind
Medical Practitioner
Dr Lars graduated from University of Tasmania in 2008. After the completion of his studies Dr Lars worked in various locations around Australia in various fields of medicine, focusing on emergency and mental health. In the last three years Dr Lars has worked in occupational medicine and is planning to continue his career in this field.

Dr Michael McHutchison
Medical Practitioner
Dr McHutchison graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. Since that time he has worked throughout Australia in emergency and remote medicine and has also developed his skills in occupational injury management. He plans on entering specialist training with the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2017 and is currently studying for further degrees in bioethics and public health.

Dr Ronald Aguillas Maligat
General Practitioner
Dr Ronald finished his Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) , Master of Occupational Health (MOH) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees from the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila in 1997. He has done his Medical Internship at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila. In 2000, he earned his Master of Health Administration (MHA) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney Australia. He continued to work as a GP in the Philippines and later was admitted as Diplomate and Fellow of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM) in 2005. He was as Faculty of Occupational Health and Health Administration of the College of Public Health in UP Manila as well before he decided to pursue full-time medical career in Australia.
Dr Ronald has become a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2012 after doing full-time work in General Practice (GP) / Occupational Health (OH) in Mackay, Central Queensland, Australia from 2008. While in Mackay he was also a Nominated Medical Adviser (NMA) doing pre-employment and Coal Board Medicals, work injuries management and doing site visits. He was Advanced Trainee of the Australian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) until 2012. In 2013 he decided to relocate to Mount Cotton in Brisbane to continue full-time GP work while pursuing other his interests in Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Medicine as well as GP education i.e. as OSCE Examiner for RACGP. In 2021, he is back to his first love : doing full time General Practice / Occupational Health this time with Sonic Health Plus Brisbane Airport.

Dr Stephanie Wan
Occupational Physician Registrar
Dr Stephanie graduated in medicine from University of Queensland in 2004. She then worked in various hospitals around Brisbane, focussing primarily on emergency medicine. She has worked in occupational medicine since 2015. Dr Stephanie commenced specialist training with the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) in 2020 and is currently studying for a further degree in Occupational and Environmental Health.

Hee Chung
Physiotherapist
Hee graduated from University of Otago (New Zealand) with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. Hee moved to Australia in 2012 and started working with Sonic HealthPlus, as well as in private practice. Hee has experience in various musculoskeletal injuries including sporting, workplace, motor vehicle accidents, post-operative rehab, clinical pilates, cervicogenic headache treatment, vestibular rehab, pre-employment screenings (musculoskeletal, fitness, functional capacity evaluation). Hee’s main treatment techniques involve manual therapy techniques combined with dry needling and exercise prescription, with a strong focus on developing early self-management techniques for the individual patient.

Rebecca Hollindale
Physiotherapist
Rebecca graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has completed further studies in dry needling and spinal physio, and is a qualified clinical pilates instructor. Rebecca provides treatment for a variety of clinical presentations including WorkCover, Injury net, CTP, orthopaedic, sports, vestibular, neck-related headaches and women's health.

Lisa Catingub
Registered Nurse
Lisa has over 16 years' experience working as a registered nurse and has experience across a wide range of specialties including surgical, orthopaedic, cardiac and general medical. Lisa also worked for a number of years with the Red Cross blood service and enjoys providing high quality healthcare to both individuals and families.

Administration Team
Our frontline administration team are the friendly faces you will see when you first come to our clinic. With extensive experience in medical administration and client customer service, our team can answer any queries you have about our clinic and the services we provide.

Physiotherapy
Our skilled physiotherapists assist patients in the treatment and management of all occupational health injuries and ailments including workforce induced neck and shoulder pain, headaches, workplace injuries and other various body complaints. Our physiotherapist is skilled in musculoskeletal disorders and utilise massage, exercise, mobilisation and manipulation techniques to assist in pain management, treatment and injury rehabilitation.

Travel Medicine
In partnership with one of Australia’s largest travel medicine providers, Travelvax, we can provide you and your workforce with a range of travel vaccinations, travel accessories and travel health plans. Our clinic is government accredited to provide yellow fever vaccinations. We can provide you with a range of vaccines, including the yellow fever vaccine, and international certificate of vaccination in accordance with international health regulations.
