At Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone we provide a range of occupational health and general practice services to the Gladstone community.
Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone is located in the city of Gladstone situated between the Calliope and Boyne Rivers and is one of the two major cities in the central Queensland region. Gladstone encompasses a land area of 128 square kilometres and in addition to the mainland, includes fourteen Local Authority Area islands. Gladstone's primary industries are mining andexport with the city being home to Queensland's largest multi-commodity shipping port and boasts two of the world’s largest alumina refineries. Gladstone’s natural harbour features access to resource-rich hinterlands making our city a unique place to live and work.

We have plenty of free, onsite parking available. We are also a short walk from Gladstone railway station and the city loop bus lines 500 and 501 both have stops a short distance from our clinic.
We provide one allocated disabled car park which is located in front of our access ramp. Our ramp is situated on the right side of our building and provides easy access to our clinic. Additional parks are located in front of our clinic door.
We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.

Please ring (07) 4843 7000 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time; however emergencies will be given priority.
Appointment times are approximately 10 minutes – please tell the reception staff if you require a longer appointment time.
Every effort is made to attend to walk in patients with an urgent matter. However in some instances, it will be requested that you make an appointment at a later date and time to accommodate your needs.
If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or contact the Clinic Manager, on (07) 4843 7000. We take concerns, suggestions and complaints very seriously and will deal with any matters that come to us. All complaints will be followed up and in writing if requested.

Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone is a mixed billing practice. All consultations are to be paid for on the day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos. The practice bulk bills children under 16 and concession holders at the doctor’s discretion. Our clinic participates in national, state and territory recall and reminder systems, please advise if you do not wish to be registered in the reminder system. We will recall you for preventative care and follow-up treatment if required. Please advise the reception staff or doctor if you do not wish to be involved in the practice systems.
Our clinic policy is that all results are not to be given via telephone. If you would like to discuss your results with your doctor please make an appointment with the reception staff as they will be more than happy to assist.
If you wish to discuss something with our nursing staff, your call will be attended to as quickly as possible. If the nurse is unavailable at the time of your call, we will phone you back at our first available opportunity.
