Appointments
We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible. We do encourage our patients to book an appointment with our reception team when able to do so.

Sonic HealthPlus Guildford is approximately a 23 minute walk from the Yennora train station and bus depot.

Dr Daniel Darlington
General Practitioner
Dr Daniel Darlington graduated from Kings College, London in 2013, and has worked as a General Practitioner in both the United Kingdom and Australia while developing an interest in Occupational Medicine. He also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys running and mountaineering.

Dr Milad Youkhana
Medical Practitioner
Dr Milad Youkhana commenced with Sonic HealthPlus Guildford in mid-2018. He graduated with a License in Human Medicine, MD, from the University of Aleppo/ Syria, and in 2012, completed the Australia Medical Council Certificate (AMC). Dr Youkhana has extensive general medicine experience, having joined the internal medicine training program in Syria. In 2013, he was granted a Diploma in Child Health from Sydney University.
He is in his final stages of obtaining FRCGP and looks forward to joining the Faculty of Occupation & Environmental Medicine, Division of RACP. At Sonic HealthPlus, Dr Youkhana enjoys the team environment shared between staff and patients.

Dr Madhu Mahadevan
Occupational Health Physician
Dr Madhu Mahadevan commenced at Sonic Healthplus Guildford in 2019. He started his medical career in 2009 as a Physician Trainee at Royal Hobart Hospital (Tasmania), and following this, worked as a doctor specialising in occupational medicine, migrant health and travel medicine in both Hobart and Sydney. In 2016, he moved to rural NSW to complete his Fellowship in General Practice. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Dr Mahadevan is also an accredited Diving Medical Doctor and has completed a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) at the University of Sydney.

Dr Jenny Nguyen
General Practitioner
Dr Jenny Nguyen graduated with BMedSci, MD from Griffith University (QLD), upon which she returned to Sydney to gain experience general practice and obtain her FRACGP in 2021. She developed an interest in Occupational Medicine and started her journey with Sonic HealthPlus in Darwin, gaining broad experience in pre-employments, health surveillance and travel medicine. She has recently located back to Sydney to be closer to family and plan to obtain Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine by end of 2023.

Jackson Belvie
Practice Manager
Jackson Belvie joined Sonic HealthPlus in late-2021. He was previously immersed in the Hospitality, Retail Ops and Hotel Management industries over 7 years, however decided to uptake a new career path within Healthcare to be a part of and deliver a service that is more rewarding for the wider community. Jackson enjoys working alongside his team and delivering services we’re passionate about.
Jackson was a member of the Site Services Rapid Response team when he first joined Sonic HealthPlus – Oropharynx and Nasal screening at one of our largest RAT projects in Muswellbrook of the Hunter Region. He has since also fulfilled the Site Services National Program Coordinator role and is now managing the day-to-day operations at our Guildford Clinic as the Practice Manager.

Katie Sawyer
2IC
Katie Sawyer completed her nursing training through the Western Sydney Area Health Service in 1991 and has been our enrolled nurse at Sonic HealthPlus Guildford since 2015. Katie is responsible for all medical screening, results management, billing, and performs administration support when necessary. Katie enjoys working with the dedicated, hard-working colleagues at our clinic and enjoys the support from our clinic manager as 2IC.

Kaylene McHale
Medical Screener
Kaylene's main duties include Drug Screening, ECG, Phlebotomy, Spirometry and Audiometry, and bloods.
Outside of work, Kaylene is a busy mum with 6 kids, who loves being with the family, and enjoys spending time on dairy farms playing with all the machinery.

Hanna Choukair
Medical Screener
Hanna Choukair completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2015 at the University of Technology Sydney. She has always had a passion to work in the medical field. Hanna joined Sonic HealthPlus in 2019 as a Medical Screener where her main duties are to perform pre-employment medicals. Hanna is a self-motivated individual who enjoys developing new skills and interacting with her colleagues at Guildford.

Confined Space Assessments
We have extensive experience in confided space assessments, performing hundreds of these assessments each year for our clients.
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Drug and alcohol testing has been shown to improve productivity and help employers support workers who struggle with substance abuse.
Employment Medicals
Employment Medicals are performed to ensure an employee is fit to work in a specific environment. This comprehensive medical ensures the employee can fulfil the requirements of the role and will identify and protect the employee from potentially harmful work environments.
Health Surveillance
Health surveillance is the systematic approach to monitoring the health of an individual over time. Often a legal requirement in the workplace, health surveillance monitors exposure to noise, vibration, ionising radiation, solvents, fumes, dust, biological agents and other substances hazardous to an employee’s health.
Immunisations
Safe and efficient, immunisations are a significant health intervention against preventable disease. Sonic HealthPlus provides a range of immunisations including influenza, tetanus and hepatitis.
Injury Management and Prevention
Injured workers have immediate access to a range of medical personnel to ensure an integrated and prompt recovery with optimal outcomes for both the employee and employer. Our doctor’s work alongside allied health professionals and are experts in treating and returning injured workers back to the workplace as soon as it is safe to do so.
Onsite Medical Services
We provide a wide range of onsite services including health assessments and screening. We have a purpose built mobile clinic that can be transported to sites across Sydney.
Skin Screening
Our doctors are trained in the diagnosis and management of skin problems, including skin cancers. An initial appointment with one of our doctors is required prior to any treatment plan.
Specialised Medicals
Our occupational health doctors have completed additional comprehensive training which allows them to perform specialised medicals including disability support pension medicals.
