The team at Sonic HealthPlus Hay Street Perth are highly trained within their medical discipline. We have doctors from both general practice and occupational healthcare backgrounds. This means our treating doctors are skilled and passionate in the medical service they provide their patients, regardless of the service.

Supporting our doctors are our friendly and knowledgeable clinical and administration team. We embrace teamwork at our practice and all work together to provide an accurate service our patients can rely on.

Meet Our Team

Dr Mark Kent

General Practitioner

Dr Mark Kent is a Perth born and educated General Practitioner. He graduated from The University of Western Australia in 1986. After 5 years of hospital-based experience and further training, including Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Anaesthetics and Psychiatry, he entered General Practice in 1990 where he has remained, working full-time ever since. After initial Practice in Bayswater and Sorrento he settled at Perth Medical Centre in the Perth CBD for the next 17 years. In 2007 he moved into his current premises on Hay Street. In addition to General Practice, his ongoing interests include Skin cancer surveillance and treatment, Travel Medicine, Corporate Medicine and Corporate Health provision, management of sports injuries, management of work related injuries, commercial diving medicine. He is an examiner for Danish, Norwegian and OGUK maritime medicals. His personal passion is recreational diving, both within Australia and abroad.

Dr Mandy Croft

General Practitioner

Dr Mandy Croft graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1990 and spent 5 years working in Perth teaching hospitals, gaining a broad range of experience. She completed the General Practitioner training programme and obtained her Fellowship of the Royal College of GP's in 1997.

Dr Croft has mainly worked in suburban Genral Practice since then, but also for a time in sexual health and palliative care clinics. Since joining this practice in 2011, she has maintained her love of the variety that general practice provides and the opportunity to promote preventative medicine.

She also enjoys occupational medicine and is an examiner for Danish, Norwegian, OGUK and Rail worker medicals as well as recreational Scuba dive examinations.

Katie Gordin

Practice Manager

Katie joined Sonic HealthPlus in 2013. Before becoming Practice Manager at the Hay Street clinic in 2019, Katie has held several operational positions which have allowed her to develop a broad understanding of all levels of Sonic HealthPlus services, as well as the Occupational Health sector. Thriving on change, Katie is always seeking out improvements and encouraging new ideas. 

Katie is currenlty on maternity leave.
