General Practice Services
Sonic HealthPlus Joondalup Drive Medical Centre provides a full range of general practice services to assist the Perth community.

Services offered at this clinic:
Chronic Disease Management
The vast majority of chronic diseases such as coronary heart disease and diabetes require long-term care plans and treatment for patients. Our doctors at Sonic HealthPlus are equipped to manage the many illnesses and health conditions classified under the broad heading of chronic disease.
Family Medicine
Focusing on a more holistic approach to healthcare, family medicine takes into consideration the continuing and comprehensive health of an individual and their family. We encourage a whole of life view of a patient and their health to encourage care and monitoring of wellbeing, as opposed to consulting with a doctor only when an illness arises.
Health Assessments
Our doctors perform detailed and individualised health assessments to evaluate a patient’s health status and to identify a plan of care. A detailed health assessment assists our doctors in detecting a patient’s risk of developing a potential illness or disease, and also aids in managing current medical concerns.
Men’s Health
Men’s health refers to specific health concerns relating to the male anatomy. This includes prostate checks, STI checks and general management of a patient’s health and wellbeing.
Skin Screening
Our doctors are trained in the diagnosis and management of skin problems including skin cancers. An initial appointment with one of our doctors is required prior to any treatment plan.
Telehealth
We offer our remote patients access to doctor consultations via telecommunications. This service is important to our clients as they are able to receive high quality medical advice from one of our doctors while on a job site or from a remote location.
Travel Medicine
We are equipped to provide travel medicine services, travel health advice plans, and travel medications for both private and corporate travellers and their families.
Women’s Health
The practice of women’s health covers a comprehensive array of healthcare services specifically designed for women. This includes contraceptive advice and device insertion, pap smears and general health and wellbeing management.
