Dr Caaren Chin

Dr Caaren Chin has been an occupational health doctor at our Sonic HealthPlus Laverton North Clinic since November, 2015. Dr Chin studied Medicine at the University of Melbourne – graduating in 2004, and performs pre-employment medical assessments, drug and alcohol testing, industrial health surveillance programs, injury management and return to work planning for our clients. Dr Chin particularly enjoys workplace health management and occupational medicine.

Dr Kah Heng Lee

Dr. Kah Heng Lee is a Specialist Occupational and Environmental Physician who has worked exclusively in the field since 2012. In addition to Sonic HealthPlus, he has worked with many clients and partners such as ExxonMobil, Dow Chemical, Qenos, Australia Post, Metro Trains, Pfizer, BOC, Ranstad, and mlcoa. His experience covers a broad range of industries, and he considers impartiality, trustworthiness, communication, and conflict de-escalation to be some of his key strengths. In addition to his long-standing clinic work and industrial site-based work, he has also more recently been expanding his medicolegal assessment practices and is available for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and Fitness-for-Duty assessments (FFDs).

Dr Roy Wilkinson

Dr Roy Wilkinson is an occupational physician and has been with Sonic HealthPlus since 2009. He completed his degree through Melbourne University in 1977 and has a particular interest in occupational medicine and injury management.

Dr Wilkinson enjoys the variety of cases he sees every day at our Sonic HealthPlus Laverton North clinic.

Dr Abdulkadir Adem

Dr Adem graduated with first degree honours and distinction, Cum Laude, from the University of Bologna in Italy. He worked in hospitals in Italy and the UK in a range of medical roles before immigrating to Australia in 2005. Throughout his extensive career in rural, urban, and remote areas of Australia, Dr Adem has developed significant expertise in managing chronic diseases, nutritional medicine, emergency medicine, cardiovascular diseases, thyroid diseases, men’s health, occupational medicine, dermatology, nephrology, respiratory medicine, oncology, endocrine imbalances, geriatric medicine, women’s health, pediatric health, gastroenterology, urology, musculoskeletal medicine, psychiatry, and skin cancer. This broad experience has endowed him with exceptional diagnostic and treatment skills across various medical fields.
Dr Adem conducts all pre-employment medical examinations and holds certifications with the Coal Board Mining, Railways Medicals, Domestic & International Seafarers & Coastal AMSA, and Disability Medical Fitness (DPA), among others.

Dean J Stephens

Dean has joined Sonic HealthPlus after 10 years of managing a large retail brand. Dean oversees the clinical operations and endeavours to ensure each client can leave with the highest level of service. Dean focuses largely on the Administration processes of the clinic while also ensuring the clinical procedures are maintained. Dean is ready to answer any questions you may have and has a strong knowledge of services provided.
