A paid secure carpark (Eat Street Carpark) is located at the rear of Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta – entry is via Erby Place; maximum vehicle height of 2.0m.
The clinic is within a 10 minute walk of the Parramatta train station and Westfield which offers three hours free parking.

We are affiliated with one of Australia’s leading providers of occupational healthcare and are proud of the local service we provide our patients. Offering employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing, specialised medicals and immunisations, our team of medical professionals are trained in providing individualised treatment and advice and getting your team back to work as soon as it is safe to do so.
The team at Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta have a focus on supporting the health and wellbeing of the Parramatta workforce. Meet Our Team
Dr Candice Chin
Medical Practitioner
Dr Chin has been an occupational health medical practitioner since 2013, joining Sonic Health Plus in 2015. She graduated as a Doctor of Medicine and has completed her requirements for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) certificate.
Dr Chin is an accredited AHP for railway medicals, Medical Inspector of Seafarers (MIS) for AMSA, Government Contracted Doctor (GCD) for Disability Support Pension and Medical Review Officer (MRO). She is experienced in performing pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, driver medicals, rail safety medicals, disability medical assessments, seafarer medicals, injury management and rehabilitation, NSW Coal Board medicals and telemedicine consultations.
Dr Cecilia Mudbidri
Medical Practitioner
Dr Cecilia Mudbidri commenced with Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta in October, 2015. Dr Mudbidri graduated as a medical practitioner in 1997 and went on to complete her Masters of Public Health in 2007 through the University of Sydney. She furthered her studies by completing her Masters of Occupational Medicine through the University of New South Wales in 2010. Dr Mudbidri has extensive experience working within occupational health, having worked within this discipline since 2004.
Dr Mudbidri performs a range of services at our clinic, including independent medical and health surveillance assessments, disability medical assessments and has experience within workplace injury prevention and management.
Dr Himani Pant
Medical Practitioner
Dr Himani Pant is an Occupational Health Doctor who joined Sonic HealthPlus in November 2015. Dr Pant graduated with her MBChB from the University of Auckland and later completed her GradDip OccEnvH at Monash University. Dr Pant specialises in conducting various assessments, including pre-employment medicals, rail safety, commercial driving, AMSA, health surveillance, fitness for duty, and disability medical assessments. She enjoys performing these assessments at our Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta clinic and collaborating with our team of medical and administrative professionals.
Dr Pravind Kumar
Specialist Occupational and Environmental Physician
Dr Pravind Kumar completed his MBBS at the University of the South Pacific, Fiji and joined Queensland Health in 2002.
He completed additional qualifications including a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG), Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety (ECU), Masters of Public Health through the Sydney University. Dr Kumar is fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) and a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME).He completed further training in Occupational Medicine and is a fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr Abdul Mannan
Injury management consultant
Dr Abdul has a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements related to drug testing, including the guidelines set forth by the regulating bodies.
His role a MRO is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of drug testing results. He reviews laboratory reports, interviews individuals who have tested positive, considers legitimate medical explanations for positive results, and makes the final determination regarding the drug test outcome. The qualifications and expertise of Dr Abdul contribute to the reliability of the entire drug testing process within the clinic.
Brendan Cook
Physiotherapist
Brendan Cook is our resident Physiotherapist who has worked in the area of workplace health for over seven years. Brendan completed a Master of Public Health with distinction from the University of Western Sydney in 2012 and has experience in injury treatment in addition to workplace health services.
Brendan provides a full range of services to our patients including employment screening, functional capacity evaluations, job task analysis and workstation/worksite assessments.
Gillian Grills
Registered Nurse
Gillian Grills is our on-site registered nurse. Gillian started with Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta in 2015 and has been a registered nurse for over 30 years’ in the disciplines of general dentistry, pharmacology, nurse immuniser, specialised blood collections and general nursing. Gillian has worked within hospital, pharmaceutical industries, pathology and cord blood companies and brings extensive experience to her role at our clinic.
Gillian enjoys meeting new people every day and applying the knowledge she has gained over 30 years’ working with patients.
Administration Team
The administration team at Sonic HealthPlus Parramatta is the first point of contact for all patients contacting our clinic. Experienced in both general practice and occupational healthcare, our team can answer questions you have about our clinic and the services you require, or will direct you to the right person who can assist you further.

Drug and Alcohol Testing
Drug and alcohol testing has been shown to improve productivity and help employers support workers who struggle with substance abuse.
Employment Medicals
Employment Medicals are performed to ensure an employee is fit to work in a specific environment. This comprehensive medical ensures the employee can fulfil the requirements of the role and will identify and protect the employee from potentially harmful work environments.
Health Surveillance
Health surveillance is the systematic approach to monitoring the health of an individual over time. Often a legal requirement in the workplace, health surveillance monitors exposure to noise, vibration, ionising radiation, solvents, fumes, dust, biological agents and other substances hazardous to an employee’s health.
Hearing Assessments
Hearing assessments are completed to evaluate the sensitivity of a patient’s sense of hearing. This assessment can be requested by an employer, during a health assessment, or if there is reason for concern. Hearing assessments aid our doctors in identifying any potential problem with a patient’s hearing and provide a baseline reading for workers on loud work sites.
Injury Management and Prevention
Injured workers have immediate access to a range of medical personnel to ensure an integrated and prompt recovery with optimal outcomes for both the employee and employer. Our doctor’s work alongside allied health professionals and are experts in treating and returning injured workers back to the workplace as soon as it is safe to do so.
