Sonic HealthPlus Rockingham is located within the south-west coastal strip of Perth’s metropolitan region, about 40 kilometres south of Perth’s Central Business District. Rockingham is home to substantial industrial and commercial areas, and Australia’s largest naval fleet and submarine base, Garden Island. Our beautiful beachside location of Rockingham is how our city received its name, from the sailing ship Rockingham used to carry settlers to Western Australia. Over the last 10 years the Rockingham area has seen a significant growth in population due to the residential expansion, which now incorporates the areas of Baldivis, Wellard, Golden Bay and Secret Harbour.
Our Sonic HealthPlus Rockingham clinic is located on the southern boundary of the industrial strip close to the Rockingham Town Centre. Our clinic conveniently has a pharmacy, physiotherapist and pathology services located on site. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses and medical support staff provide a wide range of general practice and occupational health services to the Rockingham community.

There is plenty of free onsite parking available. We are also located a short walk from Stop 25601 on Patterson Road after Ennis Avenue, which is serviced by bus route 825.
We provide two allocated disabled car parks which are located in front of our clinic door. We have easy access to our clinic and can offer assistance for any patients when required.
We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.

Please ring (08) 9550 7077 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time; however emergencies will be given priority.
Appointment times are approximately 15 minutes – please tell the reception staff if you require more time. Every effort is made to attend to walk in patients with an urgent matter. However in some instances, it will be requested that you make an appointment at a later date and time to accommodate your needs.
We can do home visits if necessary. However, consultation at the clinic is preferred as full equipment and nursing help is available. Any difficulties with transport should be discussed with the receptionist.
If you have a problem we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us or contact the Clinic Manager, on (08) 9550 7077. We take concerns, suggestions and complaints very seriously and will deal with any matters that come to us. All complaints will be followed up and in writing if requested.

Sonic HealthPlus Rockingham is a private billing practice. All consultations are to be paid for on the day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos. The practice bulk bills children under 16 and concession holders at the doctor’s discretion. Our clinic participates in national, state and territory recall and reminder systems, please advise if you do not wish to be registered in the reminder system. We will recall you for preventative care and follow-up treatment if required. Please advise the reception staff or doctor if you do not wish to be involved in the practice systems.
Our clinic policy is that all results are not to be given via telephone. If you would like to discuss your results with your doctor please make an appointment with the reception staff as they will be more than happy to assist.
If you wish to discuss something with our nursing staff, your call will be attended to as quickly as possible. If the nurse is unavailable at the time of your call, we will phone you back at our first available opportunity.
